A place we share.
A future we shape.

Erindale BIA connects neighbourhood discovery with a community conversation about local business and our shared streets.

A shared place.
A shared possibility.

Erindale BIA is the identity for this community initiative: helping people discover local businesses, spend time in the neighbourhood and take part in a conversation about its future.

Our work starts with useful information. A visitor should be able to find a place, check the details and plan a visit. A business should be able to understand how its information is presented and how to request a correction.

Where we are today

This is an organizing initiative for a proposed business improvement association. This website does not establish a municipal BIA, an approved boundary, a board or a levy.

The neighbourhood map and Census figures describe Erindale for exploration and context. They do not define BIA membership or a proposed district.

A few possibilities.
A shared direction.

Starting points for conversation, to be shaped by the community. Select an idea to explore.

A place people want to spend time.

Good places invite you to slow down. Together, the business community can explore what would make our streets feel more welcoming, connected and easy to navigate.

Clear about
the next steps.

A formal BIA involves a municipal process. The steps below describe our organizing direction, not an approved formation timetable.

  1. 01

    Listen to the business community

Understand the needs of businesses and property owners, including the everyday barriers to discovery, access and participation.

  2. 02

    Discuss priorities and an area

Explore shared goals and a possible study area with the community and the City. Publish confirmed information when it becomes available.

  3. 03

    Follow the municipal process

Any formal establishment, boundary and related arrangements must be addressed through the appropriate municipal process.

    Read Ontario’s BIA handbook

People & accountability

An approved board roster, staff directory and general enquiry inbox have not been published on this site. We will identify authorized contacts before presenting them as official representatives.

Documents & meetings

No approved BIA budget, annual report, meeting minutes or election notice is currently published here. Confirmed documents will carry a title, date and clear publication status.

Useful information.
Clear provenance.

Directory trust comes from knowing where a detail came from, what it means and how to question it.

Sources stay visible

Initial editorial profiles use businesses’ own public websites. Source review dates describe when the source was checked; they do not certify that a venue is open today.

Public and private stay separate

Public profiles show business information. Private legal, ownership and registration contact details are excluded from the public registry response.

Corrections need review

Requests to add, correct, claim or remove a listing need verification. Listing presence does not confer membership, ownership rights or an Erindale BIA endorsement.

Prepare a correction request

A few good
questions.

A new community initiative should be easy to understand. Here’s where we’re starting.

Join the conversation
What is this initiative?

Erindale BIA is an organizing initiative connecting local discovery, useful business information and a conversation about the neighbourhood’s future. We’re exploring the potential for a future business improvement association.

Who is invited to take part?

Businesses operating in Erindale, along with property owners and people interested in the neighbourhood’s future. Use the business hub to prepare a listing or a correction request.

Is the BIA already established?

This website represents an organizing initiative. An approved boundary, formal organization, board and any funding arrangements would need to be addressed through the appropriate community and municipal process.

Does enrolling commit my business to fees?

No payment is collected through enrolment. A submitted request records an introduction and expression of interest; a downloaded draft stays on your device. It does not establish a BIA or impose a levy.

Can I correct or claim a listing?

Choose “Claim a listing” on the enrolment page. Identify the business and its address, and explain the correction in the description. A request does not grant ownership or change a profile automatically.

Which information becomes public?

Public profiles may show operating names, categories, business addresses, websites, descriptions and supplied establishment years. Editorial profiles can also show a public business phone from a cited source. Private registration contacts, legal names and ownership information are excluded from the public registry.
